Food was very good and filling!! Service was nice, however they weren't really paying attention to the dining area so it took a minute to actually get service. Other than that, our waitress was very nice, and food came out very fast! 9/10 frfr ong
My husband and I went here lunch yesterday. Husband had the Shrimp Lo Mein and I had the Pork Fried Rice. All I can say was that both dishes were excellent. Best Lo Mein I've ever had and Fried Rice as well. Portions were big. We'll be back.
Wow!!! This is amazing Chinese food! Some of the best we have had anywhere. We ordered on Dash and there is a ridiculous service charge of like 10 dollars on a 50 dollar order to get food from this place but from the high reviews we decided to try it. We ordered General Tso's chicken, Mongolian Beef, and spicy garlic wings. Everything was amazing and tasted fresh and authentic and you can tell they care about their food. The Generals chicken was excellent and extra saucy as we asked. Some Chinese places never give enough sauce in their dishes but Mantis does and it's delicious. The Mongolian beef was superb, tender slices of good beef and the vegetables were cooked perfectly and a great sauce with a nice kick to it. The spicy garlic chicken wings were awesome as well, I'm sure hot and fresh they are even better and crispier than slightly moist from the container delivery but still great. Overall some of the best Chinese we have ever had and we look forward to trying all the other dishes on the menu. Hopefully the absurd service fee on Dash is removed one day soon because we would order more often, otherwise we will just be picking up from now on and this will be our go to place.
Mantis Gourmet Chinese food has what you want, great tasting food, kind and quick service, and wallet friendly prices. Everyone in my group of 4 enjoyed their meals. I have decided that this is my new favorite Chinese food restaurant. If I ever eat Chinese food again and it isn't Mantis Gourmet, I am settling. My group decided on this location as we returned from an event in this side of town. My drive will be lengthy to get here to eat Chinese food but I am confident it will be worth it. The scenery is not fancy but it has what you need to enjoy your meal here or take it to go.
My fave for Bun, especially Tofu Bun. What is bun? A Vietnamese dish, light & flavorful with thin rice noodles (vermicelli) and broth. My idea of a great lunch or dinner, the add ons like fresh cilantro and lemongrass, it is my go to when I dine here. Inside is basic, a handful of tables and happy people. They are usually busy, so order to go or you might have a short, but worth it wait for a table. Don't get along of Vietnamese food on this side of Tucson, so it's on my regular rotation of places for lunch or takehome dinner.
Food and service are 10/10! Food comes out piping hot. And when you order there is less than a 8 minute wait. I'm definitely coming back and become a regular after today
